Employee Improvement | 10 Keys to Personal Development
People need the skills to handle their personal problems so they can have a mind dedicated to being better at their jobs. Those who have the skills to handle their personal problems are the same that can handle their work challenges. Teaching people to make better decisions, to respond more effectively in the face of challenges is NECESSARY!
Hi, My name is Teddy Galloway and I'm a veteran instructor who specializes in personal development education and training program development. I help organizations like yours develop business cultures that place success and excellence at the forefront through personal development training for employees.
I asked a 27 year old sales woman, who is #1 in her region over the last year, if she felt that her company is doing anything to improve her life? She answered "no".
I asked her if she was looking for a new job after these 5 years, and she said "yes".
I asked her if she would be happy to stay at her job if they invested time into employee personal development. She said, Yes!
Want to know why?
She laughed and said "It would be nice for me to know ways to feel more confident about myself and what I do. But I think it would be even better if the people I worked with were supportive of hard work and they themselves had skills to handle their personal problems. Their personal problems get in the way of their work and mine, and it's all we seem to talk about."
You've seen how personal problems create hardships for employees. The man going through a rough divorce sulks through the office with tired eyes and a negative attitude. The woman who's been up all night with her sick child doesn't know how to say she's having a rough day. The director of operations lost track of a project because he had a relative pass in the family and he doesn't know how to cope.
Company training should offer real value. Good training increases happiness at work. We miss out on the chances to improve ourselves because we give so much of our energy to responsibilities. We set New Year resolutions in our personal lives, but we have a hard time finding "balance".
As a business leader, and the head coach of your team, you surely understand what your employees need. They need some time to improve themselves, and this will GREATLY improve the quality and quantity of their efforts. It's a no brainer.
I deliver training that helps you craft the culture of success and excellence your business deserves by delivering a personal development training program. Together we will improve your employees and business operations.
The best part about my training: I help organizations craft a definition of success and standard of excellence that employees buy into.
That's it. That's my guarantee.
I love teaching, building training programs from scratch, and most of all I love solving problems. That's the Marine in me.
Are you Improving your employees lives?
That's where Eager Lion Training comes in.
Below are the 10 keys to personal development success that I follow to give people the power to transform their lives so they can achieve professional excellence. The below is a short version of the overall impact these keys will have, but I'm simplifying it for you here. Each one of these lessons can be accomplished using a variety of teaching modalities and technologies.
Keys #1 - Mindset
Do you want your employees to be resilient in the face of adversity? Do you want your team to be responsible and accountable, to take pride in their work?
Your employees will gain the knowledge and skills to control their mindset. They will begin to understand the power of their minds, before putting this power to action later in the program. They will learn how to lead empowered lives, produce great work, and to think positively through challenges. We discuss key concepts, such as; empowerment, faith, integrity, and positivity.
Step #2 - Goal Setting
Do you want your employees to improve over time? Do you want them to have the power to manage their personal lives while continuing to deliver great work?
Your employees will learn how to set goals, remain persistent, and will create a vision for themselves, especially in their work. In groups and as individuals they will discuss their professional goals, and will develop trust with the other employees. They will develop an individual plan of action that they will put into practice during the program. We discuss key concepts, such as; stretch goals, SMART goals, and accountability partnerships.
Step #3 - Habit Forming
Do you want your employees to change for the better? Do you want them to have the knowledge to change their bad health and mental habits so they are more effective and happier workers?
No success is made, no plan can be accomplished if the wrong habits are practiced, and in this section of the program your employees will begin the process of changing their habits. They will discover the secrets of habits, how to form new habits, and will practice the methods themselves. We discuss key concepts, such as; triggers, automatic responses, and emotional control.
Step #4 - Reputation Management
Do you want your employees to maintain a positive reputation with your customers? Do you see that your employees are the face of the company and need to represent the company better?
The employees will gain valuable insight into character and reputation management. They will learn how to take action, and to manage their reputation in public and personal life. They will learn how to take action in healthy ways, and how to approach life in order to remain happy despite hardships. They will learn about perseverance and diligence. We discuss key concepts, such as; observer feedback, validation, and reputation management.
Step #5 - Confidence
Do you want your employees to be confident in their jobs? Do you want them to be able to express themselves and handle the emotions that come with success and struggles?
Your employees will be taught how to be and express their confidence without damaging professional relationships. They will be challenged to think about what work they would produce if they had no restrictions, will be encouraged to discuss these in groups.

Do you want you employees to be expert communicators? Do you want their listening, speaking, body posture, and relationships to be better?
Employees will be guide toward enhanced communication skills, specifically how to present themselves confidently and effectively. They will understand the practice voice control, non-verbal communication, and organizing ideas.

Would you like your employees to have a great grasp on how to offer feedback? Would you like them to be able to explain solutions to business and personal problems?
Employees will be taught about the persuasion and persuasive ideas sharing, giving them additional information that will improve their ability to communicate effectively. This will prepare them for all professions interactions especially meetings during conflict. They will improve upon their previous skills presenting themselves, and will give them more tools to change the workplace.
